MORE ABOUT OUR ROCKY JOURNEY

We are one of the best rock-climbing groups in the world! Well, that’s not true. But we are working our way to becoming active climbers with average skills. This is a group of college students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln who were looking for a new way to get exercise, relieve stress and meet people. None of us knew each other beforehand which made rock climbing a challenge. Having trust in each other is one of the most essential keys to rock climbing.

However, we were able to overcome not having known each other and persevered. Most of us also haven’t ever been rock climbing before in the first place, adding to our challenge. We started off with very bad skills. Some of us had days we didn’t reach our objectives. Yet, with the training of the instructors and spending time with each other climbing, we were able to develop good chemistry and eventually accomplished the goals we set out to achieve at the beginning of our adventure!
